 Bountiful buffet breakfast in a nice restaurant-like setting at our hotel.

MITTAGESSEN
 Turkey/Salami/Cheese/Cucumber sandwiches on homemade rolls we made from the breakfast buffet spread to take with us for a snack during our tour outing today.

 L & J's Wiener Schnitzel (breaded pork cutlet with mushroom gravy and potato croquettes)

Diane's Pork Cutlet with Creamed Spinach topped with melted cheese


Ron's Pork Knuckle - a ham hock as big as his head!


5/15-
 Linda's birthday lunch at an Italian Ristorante - that ewer is filled with red wine

Bell Pepper Soup with Asparagus, Grilled Steak Filet with herbed butter, green beans, French fries (some of the best we’ve ever tasted) and a nice fruit salad for dessert. 


Discovered the physalis - a small orange fruit similar in size, shape and structure to a cherry tomato, but partly enclosed in a papery lace-like husk. Primarily from South America. Interesting.

 
5/16 - For dinner, we picked a restaurant at the Sony Center next to the hotel. The prices were cheap and the food was as good as it looks ->
